Cleaning Hair Too Often

Using Hot Water to Wash

Another bad habit is using hot water when you wash your face or shower. While hot showers may feel good on a cold winter day, it's not doing any favors for your skin or hair. Hot showers can strip away the natural oils in your skin, leaving it feeling dry and irritated. It can also cause damage to the proteins in your hair, leading to split ends and breakage. So next time you hop in the shower, turn down the temperature a notch or two. Your hair and skin will thank you!

Blow Drying Everyday

Another bad habit is brushing your hair while it's still wet. When your hair is wet, it's in its weakest state and is more susceptible to hair breakage and hair loss. So instead of reaching for a brush the next time you step out of the shower to pull wet hair, grab a wide tooth comb and gently detangle your locks. Your hair will thank you for it! 

Using Products With Parabens & Sulfates

If you're using products that contain parabens and sulfates, you're doing serious damage to your hair. These ingredients can strip away the natural oils in your hair, leaving it feeling dry and lifeless.
