Before you start tanning, jump in the shower. Add a small amount of moisturizing body wash and scrub down your body. Gently massage your skin in a circular motion, paying attention to your back. BONUS POINTS: Use a shower back scrubber to ensure your back is ready to rock that self tanner! Wash off and dry your body completely.
Slip your hand into one of the handles of your Back Self Tanner Applicator. Add Self Tanner lotion to your applicator and place your other hand into the other strap. Gently massage tanner on your back by shifting the moving your arms back and forth, causing the applicator to slide across your back. When your tan is complete, rinse out your back applicator and hang it to dry in a well-ventilated area. Wash your hands thoroughly. If any tanner ended up on them while you were rinsing your applicator, it may lead to stains. Step back and admire your gorgeous glow!
Make sure to keep your back hydrated by daily applying a natural lotion. The more hydrated your skin, the longer that gorgeous tan will last!
Think a super-soft back scrubber minus the exfoliation. It's a long strip of mitt material with 2 handles for pulling the applicator across your back. It won't streak, spot, drip, or absorb all of your self tanning lotion.

We recommend exfoliating in the shower first before you even start the self tanning process. Then, apply your body lotion to the more porous spots, such as your hands, elbows, knees, ankles and feet. Apply a small amount of self tanner back applicator. Hold a handle on each side and glide the applicator across your back until you've evenly covered all of your skin. For best results, apply lotion daily (you can even use the back applicator for that too) so that your skin stays tan longer.
Well, it depends on how well you take care of them. Rinse each mitt out thoroughly after each application, and then let them dry completely in a well-ventilated space before putting them away. With consistent care your mitts can last for months or even years.
