How to use

Apply your sunscreen as soon as you reach your destination. Pour a generous amount into the palm of your hand, then massage into all exposed areas.

Don’t be stingy (we recommend using a full ounce with each application to ensure effectiveness), and don’t forget those easy to overlook locations (we’re looking at you, back of the neck and top of the nose). Repeat these steps for any children in your care.

Sit back and relax (or get out there and enjoy the water.) There’s no need to wait!

Reapply every 2 hours or any time you're noticing redness.

If you're sweating or swimming, consider reapplying every hour and a half, depending upon how easily your skin burns.

Our facial sunscreen is not certified organic. However, we always use organic ingredients whenever they are available. Our face sunscreen contains organic aloe vera leaf extract, and a number of other nourishing, naturally derived ingredients.
It sure is! The active ingredient in our facial sunscreen is zinc oxide. Because it is a mineral sunscreen, it sits on top of your skin instead of sinking into it. It’s a lot safer than chemical sunscreens, which are absorbed by the skin.
We recommend applying our sunblock in the morning. Put it on after you wash your face but before you put on your makeup. Apply a generous amount to your neck, nose, forehead, chin, and upper lip. If you’re wearing a v-neck shirt, add a little sunscreen to the exposed portion of your chest too. Make sure you use sunscreen every day, even if it’s cloudy!
Absolutely! We don’t use phthalates, parabens, sulfates, or other junk that is known for causing skin irritation.

Well, they’re both physical sunscreens, but the similarities end there. Neutrogena’s sunblock is another product with a lot of water in it. It also contains dimethicone, the same suspected toxin that you’ll find in Banana Boat products.
If your baby is under six months it’s best to keep them out of the sun altogether. If your little one is a little older, though, you can use our sunblock on them safely.
