Almost 5,000 children in the Dallas County Schools are homeless. The Promise House not only provides basics like food and shelter, but also access to medical, dental, and mental health services; counseling and therapy; and tutoring and other educational resources.

This year Beauty by Earth has joined forces with Promise House in their efforts at caring for DFW's at-risk youth, many of whom are spending their first Christmas homeless.

Promise House opened it's doors to North Texas in 1984. They've expanded their offerings over the following decades to what is now a multi-faceted initiative. Currently, their serves include crisis intervention, transitional housing, pregnant and parenting teen services, counseling, education, mental and physical health care, dental services, and outreach to neglected, abused, and at-risk youth from birth to 24 years old.

Emergency Youth Shelter Program

The Emergency Youth Shelter Program provides a temporary sanctuary for homeless, runaway and abandoned youth until a permanent home is found. Read More
