At Beauty By Earth, we are proud to be a small business, and we want to share our story with you. Our company was founded in 2014 as a small business, and we have worked hard ever since to provide clean beauty products that are affordable and accessible to everyone. We believe in the power of small businesses, and we know that together, we can make a difference in the world!

About National Small Business Day and National Small Business Week

The Small Business Administration (SBA)

The Small Business Administration is a U.S. government agency that provides support to small businesses and entrepreneurs. National Small Business Week is an annual event officially designated by the Small Business Administration to recognize the contributions of small businesses to the economy and society and encourage small business success.

National Small Business Day is takes place on May 10th and National Small Business Week 2022 is the week prior, from May 1-7, as announced by Isabella Casillas Guzman, head of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

The theme for National Small Business Week given by the Small Business Administration this year is ‘Building a Better America Through Entrepreneurship’ and honors small business owners and generates support for millions of small businesses across the U.S. For other resources on small businesses, check out their website.

Beauty By Earth's Small Business Story

It all started with two friends and one passion for natural, high-performing, and safe ingredients. In 2014, our co-founders Prudence Millsap and Ryan Greve started their own small business all the while balancing day jobs and family life. The first product—argan oil—was launched on Amazon by April of that year.

Being a small business certainly ain't easy. It takes a lot of hard work and flexibility. But, through the dedication of our small-scale crew, we've been able to achieve some stellar things.

How To Support Up-and-Coming Small Business Owners

One of the best ways you can support small businesses is by shopping with them! When you purchase from local businesses, you are directly supporting that business owner, their team, and the local economy in one fell swoop. Another great way to support small businesses is by leaving them honest reviews online and spreading the word to your friends and family.
