How to Make a DIY Simmer Pot Christmas Gift
-
Gather some fresh Juniper
Head outside and find some juniper. (Juniper Trees grow wild in Texas, so we have no issue finding fresh sprigs. If you don't have Juniper Trees in your area, sub in fresh rosemary sprigs. You can get these from most gardens or grocery stores). Carefully cut off a few sprigs, spacing your cuts around the tree so it can keep growing strong. -
Prepare Your Jar
Grab a mason jar or a clean pickle jar. Make sure it’s nice and dry inside. -
Add all the Ingredients to your jar
Place a few juniper sprigs and berries into the jar. Add a generous handful of whole cloves. Drop in 2–3 cinnamon sticks. Sprinkle a dash of nutmeg for warmth. Finally, top it all off with 1 Beauty by Earth Chill Shower Steamer. This will add a beautiful lavender-rosemary scent to the mix. -
Seal and Decorate
Screw on the lid, tie a festive ribbon or bow around the top, and you’re done!
How to Use the Simmer Pot
Tell your gift recipient to:
- Fill a pot with water.
- Add the jar’s contents to the water and bring it to a simmer.
