Detangling brushes are designed to make short of work of any knots or tangles in your hair without causing damage. They’re a great tool to have in your hair care arsenal!

It’s all about the bristles, my friend. We put a lot of work into finding the right balance of flexibility and rigidity. We ended up with a brush with bristles strong enough to slide through tangles while remaining flexible enough to limit hair damage and breakage.

Detangling works best when you hair is dry and when you approach one section at the time. Starting from the bottom is easiest. Use short strokes to work out any tangles, then move up your hair as each section becomes clear. Keep working ’til you can easily run the brush from scalp to tip.

Hair builds up quickly in a detangling hairbrush, so use a wide-tooth comb to clean it out on a regular basis. You can also use a mild shampoo and warm water to clean it every once in a while. Make sure to give the cushion a good squeeze before laying your brush out to dry: water can get trapped in there if you’re not careful.
